KIA has turned a corner in the past few years and for the better. With their extremely popular Telluride, KIA found a momentum that it never had before. Suddenly, KIA was being reviewed with praise and admiration. With newfound success, many companies trip over their own glory and make a huge misstep, yet KIA seems to keep getting better and better. Nothing more effectively makes this point than the 2022 KIA EV6.

The 2022 KIA EV6 is not KIA’s first attempt at an all-electric vehicle. The Soul EV and the Niro EV predate the EV6 by years. However this is the first time one of KIA’s EVs has everything you want.

Let’s begin with the appearance, the 2022 KIA EV6 is sleek, futuristic and composed. It is angled in the right places and smooth in the right places. The grill is ferocious like the eyes of a leopard. While the back end rounds off like the entrance of a starship. Even the Flush Door Handles which spring into action as you approach compliment the styling. Inside, it is just as impressive as the exterior. The Dual Panoramic 12.3” Screens easily compliment each other. Below, the Climate/Media Control touch bar adds to the future tech by seamlessly transitioning between the two modes. And lastly, the Augmented Heads Up Display provides more information and detail to the driver without distraction.

Next, the EV6 provides brilliant performance. Whether you purchase the Light Trim or the GT-Line AWD, it will blow your socks off. All trim levels are fitted with a Permanent Magnet AC Synchronous Electric Motor which can produce anywhere from 176HP on the Light to 320HP on the GT-Line which will give you a 0-60 MPH time of 4.6 Seconds. How is that for performance?

Let me guess, you are thinking, “Yeah, power is fun and all, but how far will I go before all that power eats up the electricity?” Great question and you are in luck. The maximum range of the new KIA EV6 is 310 Miles. That is only 25 miles shy of the Tesla Model X’s 335 and you won’t be paying $100K dollars for the EV6.

Another knock out punch for the 2022 KIA EV6 is the amenities. The GT-Line comes stacked with everything you would want and more. Here is a list of several luxury class features:

  • I-Pedal One Pedal Driving
  • Heated and Ventilated Front Seats
  • 3D Surround View Monitor
  • 14-Speaker Meridian Premium Audio
  • Cold weather ready with range preserving Heat Pump
  • Remote Smart Parking Assist
  • Navi-based Smart Cruise Control w/ Stop & Go

Those items are only part of the equation too. The 2022 KIA EV6 also comes with an Onboard Power Generator that can produce up to 10.9KWs of power. That means (technically) if you needed to power a full-sized oven in the wilderness, the EV6 could do it. Though I don’t recommend it. You would probably end up with a delicious pizza and a long walk back to civilization.

To conclude, the 2022 KIA EV6 is a phenomenon of its own making. It perfectly captures everything you love about electric vehicles without the down sides. I mean it is pretty hard to beat 217 Mile Range on only 18 Minutes of charge or up to a $7,500 Dollar Tax Credit. The 2022 KIA EV6 is the EV KIA loyalists have been waiting for. Power, style and features, the EV6 has it all. Check one out today at Fort Collins KIA.
